Suede skirts like this one were everywhere in the 1970s, and very few have lasted so well. This one is cut in panels of rust-colored suede, joined by seams that curve gently over the hips. A line of matching buttons runs down the front, so the skirt can be opened a little above the knee for walking. The suede is soft and dry to the touch and has the quiet sheen of leather that has been cared for. Wear it with a white vest and sandals in spring, or with a heavy knit and boots when the evenings turn cool.
